Nazca Lines is part of an ancient civilization

The Nazca Culture these figures are considered the greatest ancient mystery in South America. On the Nazca desert, you can observe gigantic figures that were drawn in the sand. These figures were created between 400 and 650 AD, and many people think that these figures probably had a ritual or religious purpose.
Huacachina Oasis is a lagoon surrounded by mountains of sand and trees around, here you can take an exciting ride with buggy and sandboarding through the immense dunes,

Itinerary:

04:30 a.m. Picck up time from your hotel in Lima to Nazca Airport

11:00 am. Arrival time in Nazca María Reiche Aerodrome to catch the flight to the Nazca Lines

Prior to the  overflight, you will see an informative video about the Nazca Lines so that you can have a better idea about these archaeological remains and also be familiar with the designs you will see from the air.

The type of aircraft we use for this tourist service are small planes each with a window seat so that they can appreciate the figures correctly.  Overflight lasts  around 35 minutes, during this time you will be able see perfect representations of enormous animals such as birds including a condor the hummingbird the pelican the parrot and others ones.

You can also observe the monkey, a spider, a whale, a lizard and a famous design known as the astronaut, etc. Apart from the designs, you will also be able see hundreds of lines all over the desert, and large geometric figures which look like huge landing strips, and more nazca lines.

After the overflight we will board our private car to leave towards Huacachina

In Huacachina you will have time to have lunch in front of the lagoon and walk around the boardwalk,

Huacachina is a lagoon with vegetation of reeds, palm trees, eucalyptus and the algarrobo palm known as the huarango, this is also a resting place for migratory birds this lagoon is also surrounded by impressive dunes, all this It contributes to the Huacachina Oasis being a unique and impressive place.

17:00 hrs. Starts an exciting adventure ride in buggy to cross the different size dunes around the oasis.

It’s going to be an unforgettable experience with the car across the sand, you´ll also have time to take pictures to the buildings all made with sand.
You´ll have the chance to do sandboarding as well, our driver will give you tips and instructions to do the sandboarding.

Finally, before returning to Huacachina let’s stop in the top of a dune and you will have an impressive view of the Oasis, see the sunset and take nice photos.

After the tour let’s return to Huacachina.

18.30 hrs. Transfer to the bus station

20:00 hrs. Bus from Ica to Lima by Cruz del Sur

24.30 hrs ( midnight) Pick up from the bus station  and transfer to your hotel.
