Trekking to Colca Canyon 2 Days / 1 Nigh with return to Arequipa

Arequipa is the city of sillar (white stone), destinations such as snowy mountains, volcanoes such as Misti, deep canyons such as Cotahuasi and Colca, a renowned cuisine, coves and beaches.

Sitting between the coast and the highlands of southern Peru to the Andes. It contains the snowy peak Ampato (6,288 masl), Chachani (6,075 masl) and Misti (5,825 masl) and an extension: 63,345 km2.

FIRST DAY: AREQUIPA –CHIVAY – CRUZ DEL CONDOR – CABANACONDE – SAN JUAN – OASIS SANGALLE.

Pick up time: Between 03:00 a.m to 3:30 a.m

Trekking to Colca 2Days. Our first stopping point will be the Chivay, where we will have our first breakfast, after time, we will continue our journey to the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, where, in a time of 45 minutes to 1 hour, we will observe the fabulous flight of the Condors as the depth and geography of the Colca Canyon , then from the town of Cabanaconde, located at 3287 meters above sea level, where we will begin our descent to the canyon. The Pampa San Miguel viewpoint gives us a vision of our tour. Our descent will be approximately 3 hours to the Colca River, we will cross a suspension bridge and ascend until we reach the hostel in San Juan de Chuccho.  Break Time for Lunch

After lunch, we will begin again our ascent towards the town of Cosñirhua, this will be a short rest point and we will wait, then we will visit the town of Malata. We will appreciate what people’s routine is like, then we will begin a descent from the Oasis, the portion of land that is surrounded by the Colca River.  At 17:00 hrs, you will arrive at the cabin and You will enjoy free time to relax in the pool.

SECOND DAY: OASIS SANGALLE – CABANACONDE – ANTAHUILQUE – THERMAL BATHS – CHIVAY – AREQUIPA.

Very early at the time. Indicated to begin the ascent towards Cabanaconde, we will observe the magnificent sunrise and fill them with energy, whether sea walking or mule, the experience is rewarding. After the trekking we will have breakfast and board our bus. We will make stops at the Mirador de Antahuilque to observe the Inca Inenería, then the Yanque Hot Springs to relax in the inns. Later we will have time to taste various flavors at the Buffet Lunch in the town of Chivay.

After lunch we will board the bus towards Arequipa.
